BHP extra mags Mec gar vs Promag

So picked up a couple spare mags for the hi power, what is the thought on these? , did I get a dud, as the Mec Gar is almost identical to the 2 factory mags that came from Browning, but the Promag is so tight I can barely get the thing out of the gun. Is this normal or should I be sending back to dealer for an exchange?

when i had my bhp i added some extra mags in browning blister and they were mecgar and exactly the same as the original one. yes promag are really so so and avoid to use them in any platform.

I bought 4 Promags for my BHP back in the 1990's and they fit and ejected well and I had no malfunctions. But their consistency is very poor and your results may differ. Stick with Mecgar.

My rule is never buy Promag for anything. I could be missing out but they don’t have a great reputation and and I don’t want the frustration

I can see one being better than the other but would have thought promag could make something that fits in the gun.
