I'm having a hard time finding what I want, and could use some advice and recommendations.

I have a Browning High Power Mk3, and I want a holster for her. My requirements are:
-something that won't scratch her all to hell. she's a beauty and I want to keep her that way :)
-available in left hand
-isn't made for a 1911. BHP is a slender lady and 1911 holsters fit like a muumuu.
-it would be a bonus if it meets or exceeds requirements for PPC or IPSC. If I do this it will be for fun, and non-competitive. So it doesn't need to be quick draw holster, just enough they'll let me on the field.

I envision something in leather, mostly because of my first requirement, but I am open to suggestions. I just don't want to send away for something expensive and not be happy with it.

Price is less of an issue at the moment, since Revenue Canada has seen fit to give me a proper tax return this year ;)

Try Price Western Leather. pwlusa.com or pwluk.com

I have the model 204, and I love it. They’re made in the UK (I think) but I bought mine from the distributor in the U.S. My HP is the 'practical' model with the fairly high front sight, and PWL put a deeper channel into the holster for it.

You can get pretty much any colour or custom work you want.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one if I needed it.

My 2¢.

PWL looks very plain, but interesting. Model 105 is suede lined, looks interesting.

3-4 months for raven... what is this "patience" thing you speak of? ;)

Thanks for the input!
