I own an MPOD too and it is very good. Not only that, for the amount of free advice that Jerry dispenses on these forums, I'd say he's earned the right to try and sell you on the products he has developed.
Having said that, the MPOD is great if you go to the range, set up on the firing line and shoot from more or less the same position. If you plan on moving around etc., those legs can get caught on things. It's also 200$ cheaper than the LRA.
