Bi-pods for my 870???

Does any one know if they is a set of bi-pods made to fit an 870? I got a new fully rifled slug gun this year and was amazed at how acturate it was a 150yrds+. I think if I had a set of bi-pods on it I'd really be able to pull the groups in tighter. I shot some real good groups of a bench with it a 200yrds but that doesnt help me when I'm hunting. I tried a set off one of my varmint rifles that attached to a stud I installed in the forearm but the recoil from the 3" Platnium Gold sabots made short work of them real quick.

You could drill and tap the mag cap and install a machine screw sling swivel stud and then attach the bipod. Or you could use a barrel adaptor type attachment for the Harris bipod.

there are also adapters that will allow you to mount Harris bipods to a picatinny rail.

of course, this all comes at a price...
 
Drill and thread it. Also go into the metal bracket? Not just the plastic/wood pump.Then cut the access off and glue (epoxy) it in place. So it goes through the pump handle and the metal.

If not get the light mount, then fobus and harris makes a cheap attaxhment for rails that ables you to put a bipod on. Another route is to get a surefire rail forearm.

BTW Versapod makes a bipod for the 870. I just found it out, It replaces the factory mag cap with one with a versa pod adapter.
