Big game hunting TOOLS of choice. What do you use?

Compound bow for early/late archery deer season and a week of moose hunting - cow tag this year. Everything else will be me with my new rem 700LS in .308win. If my practice goes well I might even attempt harvesting a deer early season with my great grandfathers bear recurve! That would be extra sweet!
 
45-70 gov't marlin trappers model. short light wt. for the bush. case design means no pain on the south end when you're shooting north.
 
My weapons list for this year includes 303 British ruger #1, The New King, 20 guage sxs for grouse and some improvised wespons such as rocks and sticks for grouse, too!!

I also have lots more weapons for hunting, so who knows what weapon I might choose for that day! :)
 
.54 muzzleloader

I'm using my new-to-me Browning .54 caplock mountain rifle. Had it at the range yesterday and put a dozen rounds out of 15 into the kill zone of a life size elk target at 100 yards. I'm pretty happy with that considering my bad eyes and the primitive sights. I'll probably limit my shots to 50 yards unless a big gagger walks out in front of me.
 
My gear of choice will be (in no particular order)

Matthews solocam
Excalibur Equinox
Ruger Frontier in .338 Federal
Kel-Tech RFB (.308 bullpup)

No weapons though....well, unless the deer start fighting back....Then I may need a weapon. (my dicks big enough, I don't need to compensate by calling my gear "weapon" ;) )
 
The Saskatchewan hunting guide used to define bows and muzzle loaders as primitive weapons.Not sure about currently, I should check.

I don't see the need for so much political correctness, but that is just me.
 
Weapon, weapon, weapon, weapon, weapon, weapon, weapon, weapon, weapon. There, that ought to satisfy those PC wieners. That said, the weapon I would like to use this fall is my sako forrester .243...haven't taken anything down with it yet
