Hi there.
I have an M305, which I adore,
when I bought it, it came with a USGI synth on it, which looked fantastic , and the norinco Wood stock in the box of extras.
When I first used the rifle on a thanksgiving crown land venture, it was mechanically very enjoyable, but I absolutely hated the stock.
I'm sure you'll all understand what I mean when I say the forestock has NO room for my hand.
I have to hold it in such a graceful way so as not to be grabbing the op rod.
I can of course hold it with the mag, but I don't want to have tor rely on that, as I do like using the 10 and 5 rounders as well..
when I returned home, I attatched the norinco wood stock, and found that as expected, in addition to it looking great, it feels SOOO much better.
I can actually grab a good chunk of stock with my whole hand, and the handle is nice and wide and comfy.
Now then
I know norinco stocks are used by some people with no complaints, and by some with horror stories.
Im sure mine will be fine, but just so I know, what's a cheap wood stock (or I suppose synth) that I can look out for that will be nice and fat and hefty for my grip?
keep in mind I said cheap, so no Sages for the time being
thanks so much
