Just wondering if anyone would have some helpful tips for a rookie? Equipment, guns ect.....

Thanks in Advance

To me the most important piece of equipment for sheep hunting is boots. If your feet blister or get too sore, you can't travel well and you can't hunt properly.Boots that might be perfectly acceptable for hunting in the woods or fields may not be at all suitable for use in the mountains.I have tried a few different brands and find meindl canadas hard to beat for sheep hunting.

Boots X2.

Other than that, you should consider a spotting scope as it will help with field judging animals and reduce walking time ;) . No need walking after a ram that that is not full curl if you are hunting in a full curl only zone!

Practice shooting three, four hundred or more yards if you plan on shooting that far in the field. You need confidence in your rifle and yourself to attempt those shots!
