BIG NEWS! New and Improved WK180-C Upper Receiver is here!

So, what's the most cost effective way of building one of these?

I don't have a WK, but want an upgraded one. Is the only option buying the full rifle, and then your upper to complete the build?
Shame if that's the only option.

So, the piece that is actually the firearm on these is the Lower, right? This & what I can scavenge off my AR{barrel, stock, gas system} & basically need the complete lower?
*Edit..I see bolt & guide rod as well? Will the AR firing pin work? Thnx .. never really considered one of these b4.

as of now about the only ar items you can use are the buffer tuber / stock stuff
most of the lpk
handguard and muzzle break

all the bcg stuff is different except the firing pin retainer, ejector and extractor

buy a stripped lower
trigger tech trigger, anti walk pins
the rest of the lower parts needed piece meal
you currently need a carbine length gas system barrel that is 18.6" long

I would jump both feet into this system with the Spectre Ballistics Lynx lower, when I am able to get a lightweight barrel with a rifle-length gas system, along with a slicker and lighter handguard.

Why didn't you go with a 180b style right handed cover and bolt handle?

This seems like the worst of both worlds, there's a dust cover on one side and a huge open slot on the other to accomodate the handle.

So the dream 180 has to be this upper, with the new Spectre Ballistics lower. What do you think the ETA is until we see this combo shipped together?

News Update: WK180-C mid and rifle-length gas systems are undergoing final stages of testing, and will be available soon. Keep your eyes peeled!

Any idea where to find a rifle length (gas) barrel for these? Or are there any adjustable gas blocks for the carbine length? I've been reading about these being overgassed and I'm looking at my options before pulling the trigger.

This is my (and many others) only hold out for an mcr/wk180. All I want is a right hand charging only with a dust cover and I don't see myself buying one until someone comes out with it.

can you guys make more stuff for the type 81??? like maybe an improved trigger or maybe 6.5 GRENDEL conversion???
