Big revolvers

Big hands don't need a bigger revolver. They only need larger size grips on a regular size revolver. In some cases this may require some custom woodworking to achieve but with the right grips he should be quite happy with an N frame or Redhawk with the right sort of grips sized to suit his hands and shaped to achieve a proper reach for the trigger.

I have a .44 Magnum Redhawk and it's a fair bit larger than my GP100, and with a set of Pachmayr aftermarket grips that are also a fair bit larger than stock (and much more comfortable to shoot, especially with the Buffalo Bore nuclear option lol) ....

They were unveiled at the 2018 Shot Show. But I still haven't seen one available for sale anywhere.

Had a fellow member at the range a few months back with one nearly deafened me but nice gun..

Dan Wesson 740 SuperMag. It is a .357 MAX built on a large .44MAG frame. It's big, it's heavy, it shoots the largest .357 MAX rounds down to .38SPL (though not recommended all the time).

Ruger Redhawk in 357. The grip and frame are quite a bit bigger than the GP100. Prophet River or I run guns could get them in.

This would be my response too. A bigger heavier gun isn't necessarily going to be made for bigger hands. Get some bigger grips made to fit his hands.

Herrett's makes the Jordan Trooper style of grips, which are ideal for large hands. They are made to order based on a tracing of your hand and can be made to fit S&W, Ruger, and Colt double action revolvers.

Not a revolver but what about a Coonan 357? It has a bigger grip, makes fireballs etc.

I have a Ruger Redhawk in 45Auto/Colt. The ACP is super cheap to shoot with no recoil. And the 45 Colt, you can load it right up there!

Not a revolver but what about a Coonan 357? It has a bigger grip, makes fireballs etc.
