Big thanks to Armco for Grip stippling advice

I got my slide back. I love the matte two tone look. Next thing on the to do list is a Trijicon RMR to replace my rear sight.

I think they make tips specifically for stippling. It's a lot easier, they look like a miniature meat hammer tenderizing head. You just push in on the frame and it does a perfect stipple.

Any idea where you can get them?

I haven't seen anything like this, you could probably make some kind of mold to stipple a larger area.

yeah, trying to find it again. Did a really great job, IIRC, much like the HK USP grips, depending what pattern the stipple tool had

That looks fantastic! What was Armco's turnaround time and did you have to wait long for him to work on it? Did he refinish the barrel as well? Looks like it matches the slide?

Congratz.

I just searched this and I had a question. It looks like you kept the iron at one angle and made parallel marks throughout. Is that correct? How come you didn't ##### cross like most tutorials out there?
