Hey Tommy nice Tavor! Yours is set up almost exactly like mine lol..
And yes this is my vote for the Tavor as well. I've handled and fired my friend's XCR on a number of occasions and while it's a nice rifle, it's long and front heavy even with the slim handguards. I have zero experience with the other rifles on your list.

Votes are high for the tavor. I've handled and shot one before, my brother in law has one, its a weird rifle to handle for me, I don't have much time playing with it, so maybe I'm not used to the bullpup configuration. But the majority of you are in favour of the tavor. I'll give it a few more days and then I'll make my decision.

Which one should I buy, help me with my decision. And why? These are all the upper expensive class NR rifles. $2000 - $3000

XCR
ACR
Famae SG
Tavor
RFB

Am I missing any?

ACR with a NR bbl would be my choice from that list, but I don't think you will get one for under $3K.

I also noticed you have really two lists mashed together. The Fame 542 and RFB are in a totally different calibre class than the rest of the list. Not sure they are directly comparable without knowing what you will use the gun for?

If you come from an AR, the Modern Hunter or Modern Varminter will be the most natural.

The Best option by far is the ACR in my opinion depending how big a deal over-all length is too you. It has the most features and the biggest benefits of all them except the tavor wins out in overall length due to the very nature of a bullpup.

And since this is becoming a picture thread:

It depends on what you want to do with it. For a .223, the Tavor cannot be beat. .308 RFB is top of the line. A M305 is a stellar battle rifle and a Norinco T97 is a great bargain platform. There are so many rifles that can fit so many purposes and price ranges. In closing, the TAVOR is the greatest.

Having had a Tavor, XCR, MR1, and Swiss Arms Classic, my vote goes to the Swiss. Beautiful rifle, amazing trigger, good accuracy, and very handy. Tavor's trigger ruined the rifle for me. The XCR was much too nose heavy and not very accurate. The MR1 is honestly a very good rifle but it's got a couple of quirks: the bolt release, the rear iron sight which makes for very high sitting scopes, the short distance between front and rear sight.
