I just watched Les Strouds two part series and he claims to have had unusual encounters in northern Quebec , northern Ontario , Alberta , British Colombia , Alaska and maybe the Yukon . I see it as no different than shooting coyotes to sell their hides or any trapper and the first person to clock a bigfoot would be an instant millionaire . Doesn't matter to me if they walk on two legs or what they look like , for a million apiece i'd clock the whole family .

so what is the difference between a big foot and a guy who has spent a month in the bush ?
 
OK, there is at least one Sasquatch living in BC. If anyone wants to see him take a drive up Anarchist Mtn east of Osoyoos where he can be found in a running pose along the side of the road. Trouble is he never moves....because he is a 10-12 ft cast bronze statue. The tourists like to have their pictures taken with him, usually with his trademark Kokanee beer box tucked under his arm. I see him a lot when I drive up an down the mountain in the summer and you can always count on him to be there. Sometimes he seems to be smiling, especially when he has his beer in hand. Other times he looks sad after some tight-a$$ stops and takes away his beer.

well, lets see now......... one time I was all alone (no witnesses) in my Jeep in the woods and I got stuck in a deep mud hole, it would just not move, I thought I was gonna die there, I happened to look at the nearby bush line, there was one standing just inside the bush looking at me, a tall one, prolly 9 ft or more. I got out and motioned with both my hands (come push, please), it didn't move, didn't run away and showed no sign of coming to help, so I got back in and tired again to get out, this time it came right out, had the pedal to medal in 4 wheel drive, as I got back up on the trail I looked in the rear view mirror for some unknown reason, there was another one there, covered in mud that I had showed it with, roaster tailing off all 4 tires, I waved a thank very much arm and hand out the side window and kept going, hammer down, grinding it into high range. Never went near that mud hole again.

So bigfoot is natures version of CAA? They push you out of mud holes? Do they also fix flats and pull out of snowbanks?

no not really, pretty rare occasion to get pushed out, I had been stuck there for 3 days, they must have known I'd be toast soon and had a heart, so they chose to get me going, or maybe they though more people would come in groves, search party, and didn't want that happening in their territory, a big risk they could be discovered. I'm sure they don't know how to use hand tools such as whl wrenches/tire bars etc. We do snowmobile trail grooming in the deep woods, day shifts and night shifts, and have seen very very large foot prints in the snow, no one can even guess as to what made these tracks. They are not all over the place, just in certain areas. Yep, you right, one of the places is near that mud hole!
 
I usually have a live and let live type of thing going on, except when I have a tag in my pocket. Having said that, .... I don't know if they exist or not, but having perused the "internet" and various " sites" , I will say this.. If one gets to close and displays any kind of hostility, well, I think we all get the picture, eh?
 
My grampa had really big feet. He had to walk down the stairs with his feet side-ways. Fortunately no-one shot him and he died of natural causes. I do have picture to prove he existed...not sure if I have pictures of his feeth though...they were gargantuan!
 
I seen a Bigfoot show on Tv were a hunter from Washington?(I think) shot NOT ONE, But TWO BIGFOOTS.


He sees one standing at the edge of the bush, Shoots it, Then there is a smaller one standing over the first one. He shoots the second one in the neck and kills it. He walks over just as the second one is taking its last breath. He realizes he made a mistake, This thing is too human like. So he buries the remains and doesn't tell anyone.....for a month


He goes back up there and digs up the remains(something already got to it) but he did bring hair samples back with him this time. SUPPOSTLY the dna from the hair came back as UNKNOWN, They don't know what it is??


Anyone else see that show?

no, but I should would have loved to. Please think hard, what was the name of the show? Where can we track it down, how can we find it? I known they take care of their own. That's why there is never a dead body to be found, ever! What happens to the ones that die naturally?

that's a good attitude! I highly doubt you will ever find any hostility if you encounter one or more. Just don't let yourself get spooked and shoot prematurely. My dogs and I travel the woods regularly and I fear encounters with bears and cougars and a hungry wolf pack, not much else!

I never believed in ghost, Then Lived in a 150 year old house that had a little girl walking around, you knew if she present by the change in atmosphere. (my mom has seen her on many occasions.) I used to have dreams that actually happened while I was dreaming about them. ( one was the roof of the neighbor's barn blowing off, And the other was a cheminy fire that I was day dreaming about while in the shower)

I never believed in UFO's, Then saw something I couldn't explain in the sky over Sherbrooke Quebec.

I hope to phuck I never run into Bigfoot. My Life is complete in having to deal with phucked up sh!t.
