Bighorn tl3 aics magazine problem, bolt won’t pick rounds up properly, mag too low..

Mtu profile barrel? I have a 24” mtu benchmark barrel for mine and it’s a beast. I’d say don’t go heavier than heavy Palma unless this is only a target bench style rifle. Medium Palma would be ideal as a varmint rifle to carry around. You goin with the classic 308 eh? I still don’t have a 308. I had a stag 10 308 kart year. I really want that same scope but I want it in moa so I’m unable to get one....:( lol

Barrel will likely be an M24 contour, the 700 SPS varmint that is in my chassis now will be going to my actual hunting/varmint rifle, this is going to be a match/target rifle for me. So weight isn't a concern. I was going to switch to 6.5 Creedmoor but this rifle is going to cost more to build then I thought so adding a new caliber isn't practical right now. Plus it hard to walk around from having all the components already and good dies, plus Varget runs great in both my 308 and 223 to keep the same powder helps a lot too!

everyone needs a new caliber... 6.5 is so mil-spec now you need to drink the kool-aid, even I'm finally getting on the band wagon.
