Red left his TD grip back home last leave block -- we have some KAC Mil RAS set coming from KAC (the different panel sizes and vert grip in the nylon tool roll).

I'm a vert grip lover -- its not great for prone shooting (I use the top of it as a handstop) but for CQB stuff you gain a noticeable (to me) advatage for control etc -- especially with light and laser use.

Plus with a can on I find its a help too.

However its one of those to each their own sort of things -- some guys love them -- some dont -- I'm not going to force someone into one if they dont want it. But I did note that part of the 1VP AAR from Afghan was the desire to add a vert grip to the C8 and C7's

I'm an off again/on again user of VFGs. One shorties I love them as they offer more control, for longer rifles either way is fine. As soon as one arrives in the mail I'll run it again.
