Bill C-21 Passed in Senate - What now?

It doesn't hurt to sign petitions. It likely won't accomplish anything, but at the very least, this most recent one will prove to the turd that a few hundred thousand Canadians think he's an a$$hole. And that's more than enough reason for me to sign.
 
Here is the my introduction i was 18 when i come to canada as immigrant (study visa). No i do not had any family members here. I am from Punjab(for most of you India). No i do not get any free ride. Paid my $30,000 tuition fees in 2012. Did two jobs working my ass off and than after 6.5 years i got Permanent Residence. Then another 3 years for citizenship which was not that hard after PR. I built everything from scratch. So In recent years things get easy but most of us paid our fair share in this country and still paying for it and will pay happily. So stop dividing this community. I believe most of focus should be in bringing new people to sports. I have bring over 50 guys to sport. It's been year & half waiting on FSESO and no opportunity for new license instructor. I am still bringing new people from my community to this sport and i will be bringing 100s more if get the chance. So please stop this nonsense regarding Immigrant. I love the sports as much as you do. I am new to gunnutz but not new in firearms industry.

5.7 million people voted CPC, 800k voted PPC. I don't think he needs a petition to realize a large number of people think he's garbage.

Exactly right . Odd that people will complain about Trudeau , but won't bother to even take 5 minutes to sign a petition ; and then they wonder how Trudeau and Singh have stayed in power .

CPC MP Raquel Dancho is the Shadow Minister for Public Safety , and has been the leading voice for the CPC on firearm issues . She just had a baby a few days ago ; so she probably isn't back to work yet . She has been a very effective advocate for Canadian firearm owners , and will probably be returning to that position after a little down time .
 
The punjab community is very involved! Rally your people to take up the battle as well. The more voices we have against this government the better. Afterall, they are the ones trying to divide Canadians.

What does this mean for Canadian firearms owners?
Unfortunately, with the Liberal’s classic tyrannical practices, many details of the Bill are ambiguous and open to interpretation, so the coming months will be interesting to say the least.

The one thing we know is the Bill targets semi-auto centerfire and nearly all detachable mags. We also know that the coalition government did everything it could to prevent fair discussion and common sense. This is politics at its finest.

As the Bill heads for Royal Assent, we can expect it to become law in short time, but until then, we will do our best to keep you informed.

I gotta try and remind people, including myself, to take a breath. Those idiots in Ottawa don't have the morality nor the competence to govern themselves out of a paper bag, and quite literally everyone knows it. Look at Rogan's recent comments about Trudeau, and he has the world's most listened-to podcast. Our firearms and lifestyle will persist long after these boobs have disappeared from the public eye. They can pass all the silly lil' bills they want from their equally silly lil' ivory tower, but Canada is a vast country and I don't really have the inclination to listen to folks who in a couple years' time will be forced to make their living speaking at colleges about the short time they spent in a totally-super-important-little-chair in a totally-super-important-little hall thousands of km from where I live in a place I will likely never see. So that said, I'm gonna keep enjoying my sport/lifestyle and possessions that I am legally and morally entitled to, and I'm gonna do so for years to come with both my son and nephew.
 
Don't get me wrong, not saying anyone should be complacent. It's just that there's always a doomer sky-is-falling mentality that seems to creep into this community when stuff like this happens. No, we're not the "last generation" that's gonna get to own firearms (hearing that one a lot). This is simply the stupid ideological flailing of a deeply-unpopular government that has passed it's expiry date. So cheer up and go shoot folks! I'm gonna try my hand at the cabin fever challenge this winter.

It really doesn't matter what we do. Trudeau is going to do what he wants no matter what anyone says or does. Petitions mean nothing to him . It doers affect the opposition because they might just be in power one day and might just feel confident enough to reverse this nonsense. Anyone here who thinks Trudeau gives a damn an=bout gun owners and their ideas is delusional. The three Provinces, Yukon and the NWT may in the end be enough to delay any real action other than a lot of folks might be breaking the law until the next election. I have a feeling the courts will side with Trudeau only because there is nothing unlawful in what he is doing. We have no real rights other than speech and religion and that might not even be true.
