Bill Jarvis Drop in .45 Barrels?

Hi Gentlemen,

I've been trying to find a distributor or gun shop that might carry .45 Drop in barrels for Colt semiautos that are made by Bill Jarvis from Montana but have not been very successful.

I'm specifically looking for the one that allows for (and I quote} "Adjustment of the barrel’s collar for proper lock-up at the muzzle end and is as simple as turning the collar. Shooters can eliminate all play at the muzzle end of the barrel without any machining..."

I looked into getting a Jarvis barrel some time ago without much luck. I think the best option is importing one through one of our sponsors at the top of the page.

Finally I called Jarvis to ask about the barrel with adjustable collar. He said that they are not manufacturing those barrels any more. I asked why? His answer was "I did not have enough money to educate the shooters abut this system"

So that’s that. Now I'm looking for a Quadra Lok without compensator.
