The “Leaders” are only the face(s) we see. Agreed - No one would accuse the “Drama teacher” of being smart, but the puppet-masters behind the scenes most certainly Are, and there most certainly is a plan. We didn’t see/hear of this ban outright, but it has always been on their agenda. It’s a hot topic that guarantees a loss of some votes or a gain of others. Most politicians won’t touch a topic like that unless they are in dire straights. After the Blackface scandal the Libs clearly felt they needed to guarantee some votes from their traditional base who may have been on the fence between them and the NDP after the Blackface and SNC Laveline scandals. Libs and NDP don’t like guns, so they dangle that carrot in front of them and they forget or are willing to overlook those scandals which they clearly did during the election. Any one of those scandals would have singlehandedly sunk the Conservatives...
Their entire platform is based on lies and misdirection. Manipulating social media to sway the masses. Legalize the theft of our property, but placate their fan base by claiming they will offer “fair market value” for our firearms. What exactly IS “fair market value” and who determines that?!? Most certainly NOT the firearms owner!
Can u imagine the uproar if someone went to a Lib or NDPer and said “we are outlawing your SUVs as they’re major contributors to green house gasses. You can keep your small and midsized vehicles though. You have no legal recourse, but we’re going to give you fair market value....”. There would be riots in the streets....
