Howdy reloading CGNutters !

I initially started this thread in the M14 or Main Battle Rifle forum, but they suggested I crank one up over here. Anyways look what my wife bought for my truck this Christmas.....

Yes it's an 8 ball converted to a stick shift for my Toyota Tacoma 2010 Double Cab Short Bed 6 speed MANUAL (that's for the guys who call my Tacoma a 'girly' truck ha ha ha ha to all your automatic trannys) :stirthepot2:

Basically this fellow takes pool / billiard balls and drills and taps them for whatever threads you need. Some examples are:

* Reloading handles like RCBS, Dillon, Lyman, Lee, Hornady, Redding (I believe they are all the same threads)
* Gear shift knobs (manual for sure) Some of your automatics DON'T have a push button assembly

Then:

* Challenge coins are glued into place as you can see by the picture
* Coins can be mailed to him in Mesa, AZ and he will prepare your choice of billiard/pool ball number
* I reminded him that my stick for the Tacoma manual 6 speed was 12mm x 12.5 tpi (he did the rest from there)

Then:

* He mails it back to you for your installation

This is Mike E: w w w.reloaderballs.com (take out the spaces and cut/paste in address bar of your browser)

I've been so proud of my knob (that did not sound right) that I had to share on this forum. Also because your M14/M1A lovers are the best.

Here's a side view:

So now you have his website, he is also on Ebay dot com and he ships to Canada. View his galleries. He does custom jobs like specific challenge coins for you military types (like me). Here is his email addy: mailto:reloaderballs@yahoo.com Mike is his first name!

Let your reloading press show your pride! ha ha ha ha

If you should spring for one or two of his products, remind him that you read it here (or written by Barney ; aka Hungry or Tactical Teacer)

Cheers and keep helping da nooobs!

Cost? Email him. Drilled pool balls are around $23 or so. Custom cut/drilled and glued challenge coins are more of course, but are they ever a conversation piece among shooters, and now military shooters. :D

Cheers,
Barney
