I just purchased my first pair of higher end binoculars (meopta meopro hd 10x42) and want to take better care of them than I do my cheaper ones.

What does everyone use for a bino harness? I want something that's fully enclosed but I don't necessarily need anything with a ton of extra space, maybe room for a range finder. I like the low profile designs, nothing too bulky.

What does everyone else like to use?

Alaska Guide Creations makes a real nice harness setup if protection is your main focus.

I sold mine to a buddy to get into a lighter Oregon Pack Works, Bino Bro harness for sheep hunting.

Edit: I did have an S4 harness long time ago but I wasn't a fan of how crap could get in on the sides.. might still have it in a drawer here somewhere

Also, the Kuiu harness is really awesome if a guy has the cash for an ultralight in designer camo ;)

Foir my Leica 10x42 I have a medium mystery ranch which I really enjoy. Better than the badlands I previously used IMO

I've had the AGC harness for 10+ years.

Just ordered a Marsupial Gear harness with rangefinder pouch.
Solid and well made equipment. Haven't had a chance to take it out but I'd recommend it.

I have the Vortex glasspak harness. My 8x42 Leupolds are a tight fit, but not too tight for me although I don't use the objective lens caps for my binos when Im in the field using them.

I would not recommend this product at current Canadian retail. $85 is a lot of money for what you get. They should be more like $50-60 IMO, I bought mine at Cabelas in the USA last summer for $30 USD - and thats regular price, not on sale there!

They're not BAD. They are padded, they have little elastic/mesh pockets on each side (I put my windicator powder in one, and the other holds 1 pair earplugs on a string, a glass cleaning cloth stuffed into a very small plastic tube, a lens cleaning pen, and my havalon) and a small zippered pocket on the back which I keep a bit of TP in a ziploc and my tags in, and rangefinder just hangs from the lower left strap... The price is just too damn much.

My friend has a Badlands Bino-X case. Its pretty nice, I really like the magnetic closure and that it doesn't have a flap over the top that gets in the way, but its much too big for me. I would look at their options though, they make other sizes and my friend really likes his.

Another option that doesn't have a flap over the top is the SoloHntr harness. Thats the one I have my eye on these days.

I have the Kuiu harness for my 10x Bushnells and it's nice, small and super minimalist. It's too small for my Kilo 3000s so I run those in the Hill People Gear bino pouch attached to their heavy recon kit bag. I really like that setup but it's more of a mini-chest rig, I have tacos on it for 2 mags and carry my Kestrel in it as well as admin stuff, backup dope cards, etc.

Do you have the Pro or this one? https://www.kuiu.com/global/shop/mountain-gear/bino-harness/bino-harness/80010.html

My old harness has no top straps holding the harness, just straps to the binos. I liked it with no stuff in it, but with the added weight of my rangefinder I couldn't move with the binos out or the harness would slide down my belly.

Now that Kuiu Pro bino harness? thats a slick looking piece of kit! And they have a nice bladder attachment too?! Thats cool!
