Binocular harness?

I bought the Kuiu bino harness earlier last year and the only bad thing about is that it doesn't have a range finder pouch included, which I bought later in the year. But! Fits nice and tight to your body, not oversized by any means, and the 1 handed use to get your binoculars in and out is a very nice feature especially being a bow hunter.

I use a Vortex binocular harness. I would not say that it is my favorite though. I have only tried one and therefore have no real basis for comparison... That said, I find the harness comfortable, much more so than simply using a lanyard, and the binoculars are within easy reach at all times. Overall, I am happy with it.

Rick Young outdoors has by far the best harness I have used. Check out his website and some videos on it, you won't be disappointed.

I have a Kuiu and a Crooked Horn type system. I prefer the Crooked Horn version as the Kuiu harness is too big. One day I will try the Rick Young setup as is looks great

Something similar to this, works good for me.

I have a bushnell harness which I really like for the way it holds the bino's buts its really big and awkward to use, I have the vortex system which I thought was a really pain to use with all the covers and attachments so I took them all off and just used the straps, but not happy with the way they hold the bino's, took a look at the Rick Young system recommended above, watched the video and ordered a set, they look like exactly what I am looking for in a Bino harness.

I run a Gear Dynamics chest rig with one of their custom pouches made to carry bino's. There is plenty of room in the bino pouch for wind check, and a range finder. It also works well for carrying a DSLR camera in the summer months when I'm hiking in the mountains. The molle on the rig can be used to scale up load carriage as well. I carry bear spray, a utility pouch for nav, sat comm gear, and a nalgene pouch so every immediate need piece of equipment is on hand. I can shoot my bow and move with it unimpeded.

Just got the badlands one for b day, fantastic thing, has a small pocket on the bottom for a rangefinder, pockets open and close on magnets and are nice and silent. Fully adjustable with quick release. Very happy with it so far.

I started with the basic bino "bras" as my buddy called it. I moved on to a Badlands for the last few years, I really like it. I'm trying out an ACG this year (on its way) since it's getting great reviews.

My son and I both use the Cabelas version which looks to be a knock off of the kuiu model but way less expensive it's got a season and a half in no problems so far

I don't like harnesses that allow the binos to dangle. They still want to bounce against your chest while you're walking and, as I found out in Africa, if you find yourself low-crawling you will end up with eyepieces full of sand. The eyecups on my binos are still gritty 7 years later.
