Bipod Adapter for Steyr Prohunter

Good day,

Got my hands on a new Steyr Prohunter for my son. I want to add a bipod but the stock has a different type of sling swivel.....is there an adapter for the harris short of drilling and tapping the stock.....

Any help would be appreciated. Cheers

Good luck finding one. I just had a gunsmith drill and install a stud near the original for my harris. With the original swivel removed, the locking base is almost flush, so no worries there.
I looked for a long time and didn't find any. I'm sure they make them though.
 
I have bought a couple of these and presently have one on my SBS 308. I think I got the last one from Millet. It would be worth giving them a call. They are a little pricey for what they are, but they fit well.

I payed $20 for the last one approx a year ago.

Good info. Thanks. I just ordered a couple of sets from Brownells. By the time I land them....they will be around $20 as well. Cheers
