I had been looking at trying to find a CZ bipod to attach to my CZ858 and found they have been a bit scarce of late. Those I have seen were a couple hundred dollars. As I looked at the bayonet attachment it occurred to me that it was close to the spec of a weaver dove tail. As I did not see in the near future any need to quickly affix my bayonet I thought that mounting point might work for a dovetail adapter to picatinny, allowing the use of more common bipods.
I bought this "HAMMERS 3/8"- 7/8" DOVETAIL TO WEAVER ADAPTER MOUNT". Well I'm no Satain, when it comes to coming up with cool idea's but I proceeded to dremel and file the adapter large enough to fit on the bayonet mount. So here's the results which holds the bipod very firmly.
If I was going to do it again I would use a file and forget the dremel since I managed to scratch the adapter with the dremel and had to touch up with paint.
