Bipod for daughters Rascal?

Not looking to break the bank but was looking at Amazon.ca and seen quite a few bipods around the 25-50 range. Would these be okay for this gun or do you guys recommend a different brand and seller maybe a forum sponsor? Just figure it would be easier for my 4 year old to sit at a table and shoot off the bipod rather than a rest of some sort.

Nice this is my 7 year old daughter is getting comfortable with the gun using dummy rounds. It's nice she can throw the bolt open and closed no problem and the safety poses no issues.

Can't wait to get them out shooting it on a warm day.
 
Hmmm. Seems kind of funny to think of a wee little rascal sitting on a bi-pod. It almost seems counter productive, as the rascal is intended to teach the basics of firearm handling... And a bi-pod is, well, not cheating... But, a shooting aid at least. But I'm no precision shooter. And if Daddy has bi-pods an all of his guns, why not her too, right? I guess the difference is I grew up into a family of still hunters. Any shot that wasn't made standing was considered sort of inferior.

If you just want something to try without breaking the bank, you could get on of those barrel clip-on ones... Im sure they affect accuracy, but they shouldn't make a difference at the ranges you're shooting with her.
 
I think the basic cheap ones would work fine as long as they are light weight. Wouldnt want one the same weight as the gun.

If just shooting from a bench you dont need features like tilt and yaw you get with the pricier units.

Have fun with that rascal, great little guns for sure!
 
I like the sling swivel mount ones you can get pretty small ones. I've personally never used one. Don't shoot much rifle at all. Mostly a shotgun new! Oh and my 50lb seven year old can hold the gun just fine but my 50lb 4 year old doesn't quite have the arm strength for off hand shooting. And it is safer for them to shoot and load from a rest than it is offhand when learning the basics.
