Bipod? May be a Mistake but..........

A lot of guys say the GenII is popular because it is sponsored and given to shooters.

I know lots of folks who run them in matches and paid for them with their own dollars. Vortex has a big range of products - some are entry level and the GenII & AMG are top tier.
 
No hate for buying knock off bipod.

Likely (like 90% of us) just shoot for fun. The knock off will hold up just fine im sure.

I owned a real one. Did the same thing for me as the harris and the knock off harris. Held a rifle at a bench or in some grass.

On a side note I hated this rifle and sold it. Did stretch it out to 1000 yards.

 
I am not knocking on knock offs in general.
Just when they got the copycat name on it ugh...
I am now too paranoid to purchase real Atlas on EE without proof of purchase.

^^^ This .... I totally agree.

I have both, a real ATLAS and a knock-off one. For sure the real one is a more solidly built product compared to it's Chinese knock-off, but as what Canadiankeeper says, 90% of us just shoot for fun and the knock off will do just fine in that scenario.

If your running around and shooting of barricades in a competition or competing in long range matches, now that's a different story.

You've gotta love CGN - I just learned more in this thread about the international ketchup industry than I ever expected to...

And as a side-note to a side-note - does French's actually make ketchup? I've only ever seen their name on that glow-in-the-dark mustard (which I actually rather like for sandwiches). May have to eyeball the ketchup section next time I'm out.
 
Heinz used to make it in Ontario.
Exported all their business elsewhere, leaving a small rural town in Ontario with many tomato farmers without buyers.
Frenchs took the spot that heinz had in that town and saved it's small economy.

Sure there must be a lot of details in there, these are the big lines i remember from this saga.
Been buying Frenchs since, eff heinz!
