The Versa Pod is based on the Parker-Hale bipod, and those cost about the same amount.

the Sako bipod only works on Sako TRG 22/42's, but is (in my and a few other peoples opinion) the single best bipod you can get. We are looking at making a similar one that could mount on any rifle with different adapters, and still give you the same features and benefits of the Sako one. Cost will probably be around 200-250

Well $200 is still quite a bit but at least it's reasonable. There's no way in hell I'm ever paying $500 for a bipod.

Even the super nice Sinclair bipod is only $200 USD.

the Sincair unit is fine for belly gun stuff, but not much good for anything where you have to move around.

if your looking for budget i have the rockmount static 9-13" on my sporter it works pretty decent at leas tfor $89 +tax

Hey Rohann .. don't buy a TRG series rifle either. The mags are over $300 each!! Stick with HWMNBN .. he will not steer you wrong.

Oh I'm never planning on buying a TRG series rifle. I'm hoping to build this up to an M40 or M24 like rifle at some point, so I highly doubt I'm going to spend that much on a rifle.
