Bipod suggestion

I was thinking of buying a bipod for my 10/22 build. I'm guessing I would want to buy one made by Harris?
 
When a Harris needs repair you can send it to Kentucky and they look after you nicely even paying the return postage.
WARNING: Anything else better have return postage or it will be R.E.C.Y.C.L.E.D!!!

They have been on my rifles for work, hunting and target shooting for over 35 years and a couple are originals and that old.
 
I bought my from The Shooting Edge in Calgary about 15 years ago :)

several Canadian dealer carry them :) Nordic Marksman and Firearms Outlet - the first couple coming up in Google search :) try local to save on shipping :) OR, your best bet might be the Equipment Exchange ;)
 
I strongly suggest the 9"-13" Harris with notched legs. If it's only bench shooting, you can get away without the swiveling feature. If you're shooting in the field with it (prone) on uneven ground sometimes, do yourself a massive favor and get the swiveling version. I learned the hard way, now both of my Harris bipods are swiveling models. I only use bipods when shooting varmints, prone. (gophers out west, groundhogs here in Ontario, etc.)
 
Harris is he gold standard and I have owned many of them (still do). However, I decided to try an Amazon.ca clone the other days and it turned out to be pretty decent for about 1/3 the price:

Thanks for all the replys. I will do the buy once cry once and buy the swivel Harris 6-9 and get a pod lock. If I need one taller I saw a video where you can get Atlas style adapters and extensions for it, or just get a second taller one.
 
I have harris. Versa pod. And some cheap champion ones. They all work
I like the versa pod with quick detach and swivel tilt feature for hunting. Its heavy though
 
The Versa Pod looks like an interesting option due to the pan and tilt. I will have to check these out some more. Do you happen to know a good place in Canada to order one from?
 
The quick detach definitely looks interesting. I have a Cooper in 17 Rem Fireball that could use a bipod once in a while, but nothing permanent.
edit to add... I ordered a 7-9 Versa-Pod. Thanks to all for your suggestions.

I received my Magpul bipod 2 weeks ago with a picatinny attachment. There is a lot of adjustment on it and I paid less than I would have paid for a harris. The harris is more rugged but the magpul should be rugged enough unless you plan to toss the rifle on the ground several times (apparently some people do that?)
