Looking to buy a bipod for my sr22, just dont know which make and model to get. I was hoping not to break the bank on it. Any info would be much appreciated.
 
Depends... Do you have a rail fixed to the bottom of your hand guard or just the bipod/sling swivel stud? Would you be shooting this off a bench or prone? Is your bank breaking point at $50 or $500?

Shooters ridge make a nice 6-9" harris style bipod that attaches to the slings stud under the fore arm of the SR. They retail around $55-75 in most decent hunting supply stores.

If you have a rail attached, you can get a adapter for it, just have to search around.
 
I just got a UTG Tactical OP 'pod (Harris clone) for my Marauder from Amazon.ca. I'm very impressed with its quality & utility. Used it for a day of shooting yesterday - it was totally easy to use, sturdy...and cheap. $32.95, includes picatinny rail mount, and additional sling swivel mount (which I'll be mounting on my Sako .308 - double-duty!). There are barrel-mount versions as well.
 
I'll second the vote for UTG Bipod... the new external spring model... we have eight of them and they work flawlessly... we had the older version internal spring, and they work, but there is a little wobble... I would recommend the shorter SWAT profile for your SR22... with our high profile tactical rifles we found that we used the UTG Tactical profile bipod at its lowest height anyway... so we swithched to the SWAT profile. These bipods have three different types of mounting hardware included... we prefer the rail mounts, but there is also swivel stud mounts. I will post a couple pics of them below (the first pic is the SWAT profile - OP-1, the second is the Tactical profile - OP-2) and will also post a link where you can buy them (first link is the SWAT and second link is the Tactical);
