Over the years I have written a few bipod reviews. Rather than have newer shooters try and search through them I decided to update them and put all the Precision/Sniper/Tactical bipod reviews in one place which can be found here:

http://rifletalk.org/2015/05/03/an-overview-of-bipods-part-one-the-tactical-sniper-rifle-bipods/

I will be doing the same next week with the F-Class bipods.

This might be too late but I'll read it anyway. You always have good info. I swapped out my Harris for an Atlas on Saturday but can't shoot until next weekend.

Tomochan, can you give us a teaser of which Fclass bipods you will be reviewing? May long weekend is a Fclass match, I'm without a bipod as of yet and wouldn't mind a little breakdown on a few.

I have a great britan bipod maybe I could lend to him for a review

one pound seven ounces and no decals

EVO bipod fromosprey rifles

let me know if anybody is going to sask and I can let them give it to tomochan

Thank you!

Here is a question for you. Do you think the MPOD would also be suitable for field use? I realize it doesn't fold up and you'd have to either carry the rifle with bipod attached or have to assemble when getting ready for a shot. Would love to have an LRA but they are double the price.

Honestly, No. To use it as you outline would really exceed the design parameters of the MPOD. To use a bipod in the field one really needs to have one that folds like Harris, Atlas, Versa or LRA.

First time using the Atlas that Tomochan recommended. First time with the Coyote. first time firing a bolt action. After 4 shots to dial it in a bit, I loaded a full magazine and got this. I know, nothing to brag about, but for a noob it felt promising. Now to start working at distance.

Sorry, I wasn't very clear. Yes that's 109 to be exact. The first 4 shots are on another target. First was on paper and then 3 to get it close to where I wanted, then I aimed for the bullseye and got this. The Coyote holds 6 or is it 7 rounds? Anyway, they're all in that hole. I've seen some guys get shredded by the masters on these threads. Just staying humble and I'll start on 200 next time I get out. I don't want to be torn apart. :(

I let a friend try, his first time on the Coyote as well, shooting Hornady Zombie 165 grain I think.
