Looking forward to be as successful as you on my trip to NZ next year and my choice will the 30-06 as well. Looks like you might have some good eating on the BBQ. Nice job...

Gday mate, NZ is a litttle different kettle of fish than over here! depending on where ya goin an what ya doin though its certainly an adventure in some magical country!!

LOL Jay, it gets windy down here too!! he musta been standin atop of too many a mountain!

side note- called 'going backwards' or going back, term used for the animals once passed prime of 10-12 years will begin to form these kinds of Handlebars, starting straight an eventually seem to fall backward, the mass stays due to age and coronet size but the power for formation is not there?

Fantastic, happy birthday. Love your posts, especially since it is slow this time of year around here, but hey Black Bear opened on private land today and I think skunk season opened today as well.

heading off to my new favourite place in the world... my Hut , for the Weekend with the ol Guru, i tell ya he is due for a stag .............. but i tell ya that every time he comes up!

hit the bush satdy after the big rain passes friday, then sundy morning go onto the fringes where i got this one an see what else is poking around!

Those darn skunks, gotta keep them thinned out, they aren't afraid of anything and dogs hate them.

There was a steaming pile of bear scat on the road yesterday.
