Bisley F Class Scores

Gord - hmmm, not the answer I was looking for for beer prize money.

But, you told me where to find the FCWC results, which I was much more interested in, so I'll concede: I owe you a beer the next time we meet! How about 15-Aug at the Meet'N'Greet?

Cheers,

The World's F Class results are now posted at the link

Our Canadian competitors ALL are to be congratulated for thier fine efforts and great results. It sure would be nice if a (any) Canadian Newspaper/Magazine would pick up on this story and report some GOOD things done with firearms!
Even would be great to see it in any of the Canadian Sports/Shooting magazines.

Yes indeed, our guys have shot well. The two days of the World Individual match finished yesterday (Monday & Tuesday), and I was thrilled to see how well our guys did.

Today and tomorrow are the teams matches; they'll already be finished the morning's firing at this point. We have an 8-man (four shooters) F/Restricted team entered, I hope that they have a great days shooting today and tomorrow.

I think that all of our guys there deserve a special thanks for putting in a great deal of time money and effort into fielding this team. To my knowledge is the first time that a Canadian F-Class team has ever travelled abroad and represented us. I especially want to single out team captain Bill Flintoft for special thanks and appreciation - had he not taken on the team captaincy, none of our guys would be over there now. Well done Bill, and thanks so much. If and when we ever meet in person, I owe you some pretty serious beer.

Thanks for everybody support. The team did pretty damn well in spite of some coaching hurdles at the last minute. A huge thank you to Dale Rathwell and Terry Perkins for stepping forward and doing a fantastic job in the coaching chair. Let me tell you, it friggin' blows on Stickledown!!!

I got a call from CBC Saint John after the individuals so there's a bit of media support, and it looks like there may be a piece in the local paper in the next little while.

First off, congratulations Matt for some very fine shooting. Secondly, you can sit in the coaching chair next time. It can be nerve wracking when others depend on you to read the wind accurately.

Let's not forget your victory in the St. Georges and 2nd in the Queens. You and Dale deserve a ton of credit for sticking it out in the chair when things got hairy- Not what you signed up for, and you both did a fantastic job.
