Longshot,
Last year the CF Team had a two week training camp in Petawawa in early June, which was immediately followed by heading over to the UK for 4 weeks. It ended up being approx 6 weeks straight.
It was a rigourous schedule. With the days in Pet going til last light on most occasions.
I would think the plan would be pretty well the same for this year. The training camp was held in Pet because the Team was ably administered by 1RCR. The location for this year could be anywere depending on who gets tasked with the team admin.
The Team Selection messages were cut in late Jan last year, so I would expect them to be sent around the same time this year: and it should contain all the finer details of the dates, etc.
If you are who I think you are, then you should be garunteed an invite to the team based on your peformance at CFSAC 2007. The top 16 shooters in the Grand Agg (Stage 1 and 2 combined), will be the ones offered a slot on the CF Combat Shooting Team that goes to Bisley (CENTSAM or whatever they are calling themselves this year). If you can make the time, and your Chain of Command concurs with your participation, then you should be good to go.
Anyway,, for the top 20 guys from CFSAC 2007, your chances of being selected are pretty good,, so start running and working on some strength routines.
Of course, everything is subject to change or cancellation.

Edited to add: I just had a look at the selection criteria. It states that the team will consist of 16 shooters and 4 staff for a max of 20 pers. The shooters are to be the two Queen's medalist, and the next 14 shooters in the Grand Agg. If for any reason one of these guys can't make it, then DAT will select the next highest shooter. This criteria is not cast in stone,, but these are the guidelines that DAT has made known.
