Bismuth Shot

I am actually setting up to reload 28 gauge shotshells, but unless I can find a supplier of Bismuth other than Bilozir, I would rather pay $5 per shot for factory loads. It's not like I would be using more than ten rounds for the hunt.

I haven't calculated 28's ,but you wont load 12 gauge priced per shell, for the cost of a case of Kent ...could be the shipping to NL ,but I couldn't get it to justify

Which is why I wouldn't even consider loading for the 12 gauge. For the 28 gauge, I can load 5000 rounds for around $1000 compared to around $2400 for 5000 rounds of target loads.

Does anyone know of a site sponsor or dealer anywhere that has the Kent Bismuth or tungsten matrix in 12 gauge 2 3/4 " available? I'm googling my life away trying to track some down. Any info on pricing is appreciated as well. I'm in Kitchener so plan on checking some of the local shops when they are open.

According to Kent's site and store locator...

Shooters Choice - Waterloo
FM Shooting Sports - Guelph
Triggers and Bows - Brantford
SAIL - Burlington
Dufferin Outdoor - Orangeville

This is specialty stuff so you might not be able to be picky and get it from a sponsor. Given how pricey it is I'd try to buy as close as you can and save the shipping.

FWIW, the 12 ga Tungsten Matrix 2 3/4" #3 worked like the good old days when I was shooting this fall. I made shots I could never hope to make with steel.

Gagnon Sports shows Kent Busmuth on their site.
