Bison 2010

Hunt them on the east side of Highway 35.
Unless something has changed you could go right now if you want, no licence required and open all year as far as I know.
Getting in there and finding them would no doubt be quite the adventure.

The insect situation might make a person go insane though, early spring or winter would be more comforable.

put in 2 LEH's... no luck.

But did see a nice bull just past the Nelson bailey bridge (Highway 77, a few KMS north of the intersection with the alaska highway on my way into camp a acouple weeks ago.

The odds for bison seem to be heading down, more tags available, but I stopped applying. If I ever feel the overwhelming urge for a buffalo robe, I`ll go shoot one at that ranch in Alberta:p

I would like to know how many drawn actually hunt?

I think most tags are wasted by guys who like the idea of it, but will never go that far north, and don't have the winter gear to do it.

Poke around the SRD website it has all that info including success rates....
