I'm a bit surprised at them. Both sides in the Spanish civil war were desperately short of firearms and ammunition. I wasn't at all uncommon for either side to use captured weapons.
The photo was probably staged, with the idea of showing the peasants how well equipped and supplied the fascists were and how successful they were at apprehending contraband weapons.
 
Looks like Greek Mannlicher-Shoenauer rifles to me, also soldiers in the background stripping equipment have greek looking uniforms.
 
you would cry if you seen all the guns we put the torch to in Bosnia or ran over with the tracks.

My dad served overseas (Europe) in WW2. He mentioned seeing or hearing of hundreds of guns at a time being lined up on the edge of a curb, anda tank being driven along the edge of the curb to shear the guns apart.
This would be at or very near the end of the war.
