Need some help with the disassembly, I've got two that I lent out to family:bangHead: and are no longer functioning!!
One just seems gummed up, seems they thought they would help and sprayed WD-40 into the action!! The other has a most obvious broken extractor.

Help,

Walt.

Taking the action apart is no problem; putting the thing back together can be more of a challenge.
Remove the screw just above the trigger. This will allow the barrel/upper receiver group to be separated from the stock/action portion. Pull out the bolt assembly. Don't lose the ejector or its spring. If you remove the locking block from the bolt, note how it was positionned - it can be installed different ways, only one is correct. If you need to disassemble the trigger group, the pins must be driven out. Be careful, they are splined on one end, should only come out one way.

Thanks tiriaq and John Y, The exploded view I have, I was hoping for a step by step, sort of a Guns for Dummies sort of thing:redface:

Walt.

Why don't you download the owner's/maintenance manual from here?:

and for the date code:

Plus all firearm manufacturers will provide free firearm manual downloads on their site and if not listed they will mail you one to your home. It's a policy as manufacturers don't want a law suit in case you get hurt as a result of not having the instruction manual (owner's manual).

Thanks Sidney,
I have the manuals, they give no instructions on disassembly, only to take it to a qualified dealer for service. The exploded view I have, what i was hoping for was some step by step instructions so I can avoid learning by experimentation. Like what they have for the 10/22 guys.
