BL-C2 great with my .308

I just tried firing off some reloads using bl-c2 with 168gr match bullets

best grouping i've shot so far!

I will probably be permanently switching to this as my main powder instead of the usual imr 4064

What loads did you start with and what rifle are you using...Bob

I have predominantly been using 4064

For the bl-c2 load I was using 42gs of powder in the 168match.

other loads I have done have been using 4064 with 165gr btsp, 150gr fmj, 165gr ballistic tip, and the bthp match. All test runs.

for the powder loads, they have varied from 42grains up to around 50 (iirc)

I am using a remington 700ltr.

can you coment farther on blc2 for .308 , with 22 inch barrel with 165 hunting bullets , i have used different powders but not very happy with the velocity, havent tried blc2, wade

This round shoots about 0.5" out of my 308 LTR. I don't even need to change a thing on my scope when I switch to Federal GMM.

46gr. of Varget, Win. cases, WLR primer, 165gr. hornady SP, yeiled 2650fps from my 22" Mod. 88.
Shoots into 1.5" at 100 using a 2-7 scope, and a trigger from hell.

anyone reloading for a Winchester Model 100, using Hornady's 165gr. A-Max bullets? Any recipe?
