Black Aces Tactical Mossberg shotgun magazine fed receiver

Remember the first mags issued with the C-7? I'd prefer metal magazines.

Granted, but the AR family didn't really get a decent magazine period until the PMAG came along.

Anyway, make mine a polymer Saiga and let me plug it into a Benelli M2 or M4!

I can get more rounds into my 930 now, this isn't really a step forward. What good is a 5 round drum?

Detachable mags make it much faster and easier to load amd unload as well as making for a more convenient way to carry your ammo vs loops and pouches.

Agreed, but technique plays a major role in the employment of a shotgun, rather than shoot to empty and reload, you should be shooting and loading. Mags would really only become an advantage in a last ditch situation, where ammunition management has gone south. The fact that these mags are going to be capped at 5 really destroys the usefulness of the system, a 20 inch pump with 8+1 is going to buy you a lot of time in a continuous fire situation (or a 3 gun match)

It's not their fault as to Canadian legal restrictions, most people in the U.S. are probably going to mostly run 8 round mags like they do for their Saigas.

And if you have to do a lot of shooting in a single engagement, you've probably chose the wrong weapon in the shotgun.

I'm fairly quick a reloading a tube mag gun, .75 to 1 second per round, but retrieving a box mag and sticking in the gun is just going to be faster and less prone to fumbles, especially where your tube mag gun would otherwise give you a tricky lifter to deal with such as on the Benelli semis.

How so? the Remington is a pump, no limit for detachable magazine.

How hard would it be to make magazines and state they are for the Reminton 870?

I would assume it would just take a stamp on the mag like the beowulf mags, but it is getting a manufacturer to do that. In theory companies like magpul and surefire could do it, and I'm sure they have been approached by Canadian companies to do such a thing, but there is probably reason why they don't do it.
