What do you guys think? I am just trying this out with caliber paint, if I decide to go with it I will do a better job.

Yeah, that dumb show kind of ruined custom firearms for me.

I looked into gun safe and realized that everything was black.... Except for 2 rim fire rifles, So I thought i would add a bit of colour.

That and getting the whole thing chromed was going to cost a bit much.

Overall I love the shotgun. The heat shield contrasting with the red really looks sharp, that optic looks good perched up on there and I love AR style stocks on shotguns...
Painting it tan or od green would look awesome IMO.
Awesome shotgun. But it's the red that doesn't do it for me.

It was also a perfect opurtinity for the red jacket jab, sorry about that.

No worries, I don't get offended easily.

I might switch the colours, maybe do camo, it is easy to sand blast and start over.

I might try white, grey, blaze orange - I like this idea if it is allowed, etc.
if all else fails, I will go with FDE, or OD

Plus for the price of paint, I can try and see. Once I decide on the colour or tone, I will bake the finish properly.

The F class shooters and service rifle shooters have been doing this for a long time. Some of their stocks are works of art. You wouldn't think a bright purple ar would look good, and one guy had his bolt gun stock painted and clear coated corvette yellow

Everything in my safe is black too (except my Mosin), that does looks pretty sharp though. Bright blue, green, orange, dare I say pink or purple...I think they'd all look good against the black furniture.

I used HVT brake caliper paint, but If it do it again, I would spend a lot more time prepping the area.
The pain can be picked up at canadian tire for I think. $7
