My sons, daughters and I (not so much the Mrs) have been trying for find a BB course since before Covid-19. Seems like not everyone has ramped back up, and perhaps that is understandable with the current rubbish restrictions on buying suitable firearms.

We've been in touch with https://www.ipsc-ont.org/wordpress/?page_id=410, of course, but we are hoping for some grass roots info -- maybe somebody knows of a local course being run sometime before the new year.

We'll go anywhere from Barrie to Waterloo to St.Catherines to Peterborough, maybe farther if needed.

Thanks, and now we'll return to your regular programming.

For a while there, a gentlman out of Bancroft put on regular black badge courses.. Just because of the distance from the GTA it was generally the best/fastest option I've no idea if that is still a thing though. my 2 cents

Leo Cossetto runs a BB course pretty regularly out of Sharon Gun Club (and some other spots as well AFAIK).

I would recommend shooting Sharon Gun club an email asking about it, it's open to non-members.

Sharon Gun Club is only open to people who can buy, rent, borrow a share from a existing member.

And then you have to jump through more hoops to get that membership than obtaining your PAL/RPAL.

For those on the east coast, there is one scheduled in Halifax for November. They only do about 2-3 a year on average so if your interested jump on it. Class size limit of 12 I believe and its a combo handgun and pcc class.

Not exactly a Combo - that doesn't work - but both disciplines are being taught at the same facility at the same time. (HG downstairs, PCC Upstairs)

You could email the one posted on the IPSC Ontario website about BB courses, but nobody ever reads them. My suggestion would be to contact Josko at Double Tap Sports. He's the Black Badge director for Ontario
