Black Badge gun shopping

Is there anywhere in Toronto or near by (north) where one can shop "hands on" for a pistol to use at a black badge course. Buying online is nice but it would also be nice to feel the weight, balance and general heft of an item.

What is it you are looking for?

Simmons has a wide selection of sigs, glocks, and CZ's which are prolly the most popular guns. Prices are high though!

Lanz Shooting supplies has a smaller selection, and some used stuff, but call ahead and ask is your best bet.

Have not been to shooters choice in a long time but they don't have a huge selection, Id call and ask, as their website isn't too specific, but they have a good selection of used stuff which is on their website.

Epps is a little farther but has some of the best prices around period, and a wider selection of guns than any other store you will visit in the area new and used. It is well worth the drive!!!!!!!
 
Thanks for the info guys. I didn't know Target Sports had a store, thought it was only a range. Will take a look as I have to go to the city this week. Saw the inventory on Elwood Epps site and it is fairly extensive. That will have to be a separate trip though.
As for what I am looking for, it's hard to say without the chance to handle. Most of my shooting over the years was with a 9mm Browning Hi Power and I'd buy a good one of those pretty quick I think. Would like to see other 9mm models though. Main factor I suppose is reliability and low stoppages in a Black Badge setting. Need to buy a fair whack of accessories too so loooking for a well stocked retailer. Thanks again. Eric
