Hi All,

I don't have any hunting experience, but I do like this sport. I want to give it a try this year. Due to limited budge, I can't afford the packages provided by the Zecs or outfitters.

As I lost my voice in recent surgery , talking to someone to get information is difficult for me. This forum could be the best information source for me.

I am wondering if there is any place in Quebec, where we can just bring the license and go for black bear hunting. (Reasonable access fee is acceptable for me).

I am in Montreal. Zone 7,8,9,10 would be my interests. Thank you so much for providing any advice.It will be nice if you can provide Google map coordinates and some hints.

BTW., I have valid hunting certificate and am willing to follow all the regulations.

did you check around the crown land ?

did you check where there is some moose hunters that are not hunting bear ???!!!

most of those hunters will be happy with that ...

maybe you should the quebec hunting forums too ...
 
i must add a zec yearly fees will open you an area for hunting and fishing that can be maybe something to consider if they re taking new applicants of course ....
