Lets consider this guy a place holder bear until I can cross the rockies and find a better one.
My first Northern BC bear and big game animal. First solo big game animal.
Shot with a 270 win Sako A7 with 130 grain blue box (I know, I know)
Shot quartering away, bullet went through the heart and lungs and came out of the front leg.
I just got back from the bush with him, a bit of an adventure. Now to skinning and quartering.

Congrats man, small but nice.
Congrats on number 2 DG
Going to take another crack at it myself this weekend.
Thanks! Congrats to you aswell. Should make a great eating bear. Now that I have time I will start load developing for that rifle you sold me. Hopefully fall deer season goes as well.
Hey, Daniel... congrats on your bears. It has been a late spring here, still has not greened up. I am leaving on Sunday to hunt bears up North.
Did you buy the No.1-A .303 Brit? If so, it is a beauty and I already have a load worked up for it, and some nice pictures if you want.
