I know that Black Box is really good at Glock work. When I first talked to Jay in March they were not ready to work on a 226. He indicated that they were working on it and would let me know. I called back in early July and they said bring it in. I bought a .40 caliber conversion kit for my TacOps 9mm 226 and took it to them to have the RMR and matching front serrations machined. As well, they Ceracoted it when done and the finish is flawless. For anyone thinking about getting this or any custom work done I would highly recommend Black Box. They are top notch in every way.

It took a little longer than I would have liked but understand that they would rather get it done right then fast. They helped me out on the bill to say sorry for the extra time. Was not required nor asked for by me and I think it was a classy move to initiate on their end. Thank you Jay.

If you are looking at having custom work done Black Box will not disappoint. I will not hesitate to do business with them again.

Wow, tough crowd...

Still need the suppressor sights as they are backordered from MD Charlton but here are a few quick picks from the surface. I was using a dovetail RMR mount on the 9mm slide but it kept coming lose. I have about 25,000 rounds through the pistol with the RMR on the dovetail. This is a much better setup. The RMR is a little wide for the 226 but it is still my first choice on red dots. I have one on an FNX Tactical as well and that is a pretty sweet set up as well. Sucks having old eyes but this brings me back into the game...
