Black Box Customs Review
I have an STI in 45 ACP that I have had forever. Used it in many an IPSC match back when the 45 was king. It is a well built gun but after 10, 000 rounds it was looking a bit tired. Especially the slide from constant draws. My son was asking if he could shoot it in an upcoming 3 Gun Match this summer. Felt kind of bad, it has seen better days. When I saw Black Box Custom's offer in January, had to send it in. Results are below. I have to say Jeremy, Mark and the gang were great to work with. Their communications are top notch. They stayed in touch through the whole process. They had a lot of ideas some of which ended up being incorporated into my gun. There was a bit of a delay, not their fault, but they kept me up to date all the way through.
They wouldn’t send it until I had seen the pics of it and was satisfied with the job.
I am really happy with the results and it is like a new gun. I have sent them a second gun, looking forward to getting that back after seeing the job they did on this one.
This was cool. My pistol was returned in a black box. Nice touch!
Titanium finish with black accents on the hammer, slide release, safety, mag release, extractor, and mag funnel
Goes nicely with its new Solely Canadian holster. It's now match ready for my son!! Thanks, Black Box Customs!
