It's a push pin with a set screw.
So yes I think it can be done. I plan to replace it pretty soon.
Confirmed that it is swappable.

Its roughly in line with what BCL said, so that's a good sign. Apparently they went with a Wylde chamber for increased accuracy over a 5.56 NATO chamber, like the early WKs. I'm curious if early WKs would have similar accuracy, if there are any left, but the accuracy would probably lessened by comparison by the hyper gassing of the WK vs the SRV2, plus the SRV2 has a slimmer BCG for less reciprocating mass to skew things.
Gassing and differences in chambers will have virtually no bearing on accuracy with an auto-loader and factory ammo loaded to mag length compatibility, being shot in this manner in my experience.
They will make a difference with reliable feeding and functioning of ammunition that spans from questionable to garbage and cleaning of a system that ranges from barely suitable to outright sh!t.
What will matter in the accuracy department is consistency in the ammunition and the concentricity of the loaded rounds and the quality of the barrel.
100m distances are a standard place to start the search for accurate loads, but one needs to see what those loads do at distances like 300 and 500m if they are truly interested in wringing everything from their rifle. Not many bother or have that ability to 'stretch the legs', so its not often seen and is a bit of a moot point if no one is using these rifles to their potential.
