hey update on my drum
1st of all just to clear something here my drum is for my ar15 conversion kit and 2nd after lessening the spring tension the mag started working flawlessly but i had to hold the drums halfs together because the screw hole was stripped and the mag was lose so maybe i use some duct tape to keep it tight i went through 300rnds with no jamming

Backed the spring tension off and still stovepipes. Tightened the tension real tight and still stovepipes. The factory mag and a B.C mag have both over a 1/8" of clearance between the ejector and the backend of the mag. The B.D. mag has no clearance at all. So out came the file and I took off 1/8" of material from the back of the B.D mags left rear feed lip. I had on had some federal low velocity target rounds so I set the mags spring tension at the manufactures recomondation and loaded 50 rounds. Was able to get 36 rounds off before a spent case failed to clear the ejection port. I repeated this several times till I went through 300 rounds. The stove pipes dissapeared. I did have several failures of spent casses to clear the ejection port. I am hoping that some high velocity rounds will solve this problem. A excellent improvement in mag functioning.
