Is there a Cole's notes version on figuring out relative model stack? Is monarch higher end than prostaff? Is a prostaff 5 better glass than a monarch 3?

Any comment on the Monarch 3 4-16 vs the black FX1000? To clarify I understand that there are different features, but more curious about rtz and glass quality comparisons.

I have an FX 1000 and have been trying to find another for about 12 months now

Good luck with that. Nikon got out of the scope game a while ago now (1-1.5 years ago I want to say?). Frankly I'm a bit surprised Rangeview (or really any retailer) still has any Nikon scopes. I wonder if these have been on the shelf for a while or if the distributor keeps finding more in the warehouse?

It’s complicated - but no longer lifetime and you must have proof of purchase now(receipt)
I have been lucky to never have had to use warranty, but I don’t think I’ll be buying any higher end Nikon scopes
They have been one of my favourite brands over the years

And you get credit towards other nikon optics products iirc They can't exactly replace a broken scope with a new one if they don't make new ones anymore.

I'm surprised the prices for them keep going up despite new ones having not been made for a year or two now.
That might be a demand thing though I guess
