I have both but don't know the answer. Is there a good test I can do to try to find out? I've always kind of thought eyebox size was something the sales counters at gun stores bring up when they try to talk people into more expensive scopes. That, or it's just simply objective diameter divided by magnification power setting, which leaves no room for 'quality' or 'interpretation.'

Eye box is just how easy it is to get behind the scope and see a full, clear, edge to edge picture. If you set them both to a similar high zoom, and get in your shooting position, then move your head forward, backward, and side to side. One may or may not lose the sight picture right away faster than the other.

That XRS2 from Rangeview is the best optics deal I've seen so far. There was a 3-12 LRTS for $700 off last week, but can't remember who had the sale. Might have been Rangeview as well.

Dante’s has the Sparc II for $197, even cheaper than the big box store I was talking about.

I did buy 2 from Big Box Co before I saw them offered by a site sponsor.

No high quality holo/reflex/red dots marked down, I feel like I’ve scoured everywhere. I have 5 more firearms to outfit optics on and was hoping to find the the odd deal on some higher end holo/reflex/red dots.
