Great prices on the ammos but shipping cost is killing it. 62$ to ship a single case of 9mm takes the price of barnaul's around 300$+tx for steel cased. I'd totally buy a case, cause sometimes I don't wanna pick my cases up for reloading, but if it's gonna cost the same as brass cased I don't really see the point.
Too bad though, prices are great.
Just an FYI: some other retailers manage to offer free shipping (even on ammos) for 200$ or 300$ minimum orders. I'm sure they don't pay 62$ to ship a 300$ order, that would eat their profits. You might wanna check with canpar if it isn't possible to get a better rate.

I hear you. We don't mark up our shipping at all. The prices we receive for quotes from Canpar, Canada Post etc is passed directly on to the customer. Recently we've been taking a loss on the shipping with the discounts we've been giving trying to keep competitive, but it's definitely hard, and with Black Friday pricing, we're unable to do that, as we'd be losing money on every order. I think some of those offering free shipping may be warehousing stuff closer to the end delivery point, and may be getting better rates on shipping, or because of volume may be getting better rates on shipping, and thus are able to eat some of that cost without losing money overall on orders, but that is just speculation on my part, we'll probably never know for sure. Thanks for your input, we definitely value it, and hopefully as we grow our volumes, we will be able to offer more competitive shipping rates in the future. In the interim we truly appreciate all those CGNers that are able to support us as we grow, it's been a fun ride over the last couple years as we've grown, and look forward to supporting the community for years to come! Please do. You can select in-store pickup when you purchase online, and it will be waiting for you when you come in. The only restriction is there will be no in-store pickups on Dec 3rd, due to our annual customer appreciation sale, and we will be closed the following Tues and Wed to get everyone's online orders processed, and out the door.
