We’re firing it up again for summer 2007… the PPC Patrol Rifle matches

Admissibility:
- Open to all ! No need to be a PPC shooter, nor to be a member of some association (however, if you shoot any other stage; revolver, pistols, etc…, then you have to be a CPCA member).
- Minimal inscription fees (about 10$-20$, to be determ. By the match director).
- To get an ATT (if your rifle is restricted), just email/pm me and I’ll send you the invitation letter.
Equipment:
- Centerfire rifle, carbine or SMG, repetition mechanism and feeded by magazine or clip. Minimum of 5 rds capacity. Legal 10 rounders are accepted, but a mag change needs to be done (or simulated) after max. 6 rds.
- Maxium caliber 0.450" (11.5 mm).
- The firearm model has to be recognized as a “service rifle/carbine”, meaning it is presently used by any MIL/LE/security organization or has been in service previously.
- Any iron, electronic or optical sights. Magnification of 4x max. Not allowed to switch between sighting systems during the match.
- No artificial ground support (ex: bipod, sand bags). Use of sling and ground mattress is allowed and the mag can touch the ground.
- Four mags and 100 rds of ammo are needed.
- Rifles must be zeroed prior to competition.
- The shooters can use binoculars or spotting scopes. Coaching is prohibited.
Classification:
- There are no classes; the match is "open".
- Prizes (medals, trophy or cash) will be given out to the top 3 shooters (for the Aug. 18 provincial championship) and other prizes will be awarded to the top 3 cumulative scores from at least 3 matches for the rest of the series (the QC PPC League matches)
- Scoring (max 600 points) will be done like for PPC, per current CPCA rulebook. However, since the stage is not certified by CPCA, the scores will not be compiled in the national ranking.
Course of fire:
Starting position is standing at ready (buttstock on shoulder, barrel pointing ground at 45deg.)
All targets will be the B-27, unless noted otherwise.

10 rds, 35sec, prone, 50m (B34 target)
(These stages can be modified depending on club/range limitations, target availability, etc…)
